this blog is so on it's way downhill. i miss the time when i had something to write everyday. but now life has just settled into a pattern of waking up and going to sleep. i just finished five days of ICT. and that would be the first of ten. finally seeing platoon 6 again after so long, like 20 months.

then again, it has only been eight months since ORD for me.

this song recently came back to me.

a mere sight is enough to trigger all the past memories and emotions. everything that was boxed up and stowed away can come tumbling out in the blink of an eye. and then we're back to square one.

i just came back from a KFC lunch with sam, and an unfruitful trip to the computer shop for desktop repair. after lugging the entire desktop over, they told me to bring it home and call for on-site service.

anyway these are some long overdue things.

jia en and i made these two tarts some week ago. the week i was having flu. one is a french lemon cream tart, and the other is a chocolate cream tart.

then i made nutella ice cream.
and threw in macadamias and chocolate chunks.

then i made rose levy beranbaum's cream puffs. the recipe was good because it used up egg whites without yolks. finally something other than meringue or macaroons.
they were good with the strawberries and peaches that weiyang brought over, and hand-whipped cream, and the highly expired hershey's chocolate syrup.

i am eating too much indian food.

on other news, i managed to clear driving license in exactly four months.
