much of this week was spent on waiting for things to happen =( i am really hoping for a good vocation to be posted to. i have managed my six pull-ups, and now it's time to jump 216cm. the moons this week were very round and yellowish.

i kind of like shooting, but it's so difficult.

i have also dreamt of sonya baking somehow. oh today i went for MDC auditions. rare is the pes A/B person who makes it into MDC. and my whole day has been occupied by the seibu for fish & co, walking around, buying books (nigella lawson!) and maths.

yesterday's dinner was fun! many people from the class came. i think it's so nice to be able to meet with everyone and talk about current lives. we were also celebrating toffa's and beejuan's birthday. baked cookies and cream cupcakes in the morning with seibu (and weiyang)!
yellow batter made with still-cold eggs. i think the cold eggs may have made the recipe fail somewhat.
crushed oreo cookies folded into the batter. somehow, the colour of this was different from the one in the book.
spooning the batter into the cups. next time i'll only half-fill the cups, and i'll place the paper cups in metal cases to prevent spreading of the batter =(
see! the spreading batter made every cupcake lose its shape =( never made something so ugly before.
making the icing by hand. i beat the cold butter with icing sugar without using my machine at all!
the end product. but mummy says i should have beat longer, to the point that the icing is like a cream. and i think it's way too sweet.
weiyang helped by sleeping, watching desperate housewives and decorating the cupcakes. so, the final product was just like that. didn't look very professional, but i think the taste was ok.

i think i want to buy the culinary institute of america's baking and pastry book, which is the textbook for baking and pastry students.

after the dinner we were sitting on top of vivocity and telling ghost stories. got an apron from the couple for valentines' day. so pinky. there was sleepover at weiyang's house after that, in which we played some tarot cards. and then we woke up and lazed around this morning and went to botak jones for lunch. yayness i can eat a lot now because i know i will lose the weight, and the thunder thighs.

hello world, i am back from the field camp. i think someone up there must be very happy with leopard company, because we had absolutely no rain for all six days. and no rain means no mud. i really don't know how i came through these six days, especially after i already received two blisters after the 8km march. with no baths and only powder bath, the thickness of dirt on me has reached an unprecedented level. the result? two new pimples. morale was very high after the last activity today, in which the crawling really hurt my elbows =(

on other news, i managed to do five pull-ups today.

i've started watching damages, which seems to be a very exciting serial coming up in america! i think it's supposed to be very good, with glenn close as the star. right now i'm just sitting in front of the computer watching 容祖儿's songs on youtube. i'm waiting for 5pm, to go down and buy dinner. and then i will go back to the island, into the jungles.

crap, i didn't 守岁 last night because i was feeling very sickly. today i woke up and changed to old clothes for 拜年, because i don't have new clothes =( however, upon wearing my prom pants, i realised that my waistline (at the navel) has gone down from 30 to 28 inches =)

hello i am back again! this time it's for 2.5 days, and then i'll be back in preparing for the field camp =( i have survived three days of wearing the same uniform for training... i am also slowly getting my voice back. i still remember just last sunday i was at taka with yihui they all walking around at the chinese new year food fair, and i completely had no voice.

the evening sky over the mainland last monday was very nice. i don't think people on the mainland could see it.

i think we are having a tropical depression now. it's so gloomy. and i'm going back today, but i'll be out on wednesday. currently, i'm having very thick phlegm clogging up my throat and i can't speak unless i force my voice through. at the rate i'm coughing, i'm going to get a hernia soon.

i am on my second bookout, which is going to last only 26 hours. and then the next coming week will be quite strenuous, though we will be out on wednesday for chinese new year! but i haven't had time, and will not have time, to buy new clothes =(
