feb and dec
hello i am out (again) because there was URA interview today.
but i was out yesterday for PSC interview. and talk about yesterday. omg there was a stupid train delay, which took me on a detour that cost me one hour and $1.02 on my ezlink card. anyway i was sitting on a feeder bus with jinquan through choa chu kang estate to get to the bus interchange. and there was such an adorable father-son pair sitting behind us. at the bus interchange waiting for the bus that goes to orchard (so that i could get home from orchard), i ended up chatting/bitching with an auntie about wretched trains, until the train service resumed.
right now i still don't know what caused the train delay.
then i met yishi for lunch at carl's junior. sigh, looking at working people makes me wonder why i'm still stuck in the saddest of places, earning a meagre $550 a month. i want so much to be giving tuition, or baking good things!
so, it was rainy, then drizzly, and i was walking slowly to the national library, where i met lenard. and omg his life is so slack to the point that he could go to the library, change to normal clothes, and read books. sigh! i found some baking books and read for a while. now i feel so inspired to make a puzzle cake.
the PSC interview wasn't fantastic, but it wasn't terrible either. i don't know what the outcome will be, but i really hope it is favourable! now, what is zero; who invented zero?
and then today's interview was the URA one. they dragged each interview so long that mine was so late i couldn't eat with my sister, who was working in that area. the interviewers were nice, but they presented me a dilemma i never saw coming =( in any case, i don't really know what i want. but i think they pre-marked me as 'the one who bakes'. like: oh, so you're the one who bakes...
so now i'm back home and listening to my beloved T album. but my T album doesn't have a complete photo set. (because yishi has micky!) haha, actually i think these are the little things that are going to keep us all connected to one another. like having each other's letters and notes, wrappers from past presents... just, little things.
dear 小强 has appeared in the bunk today. the india people are coming back soon, and i'm beginning to feel that unsettling feeling all over again. i also just realised that i didn't mark 29th february this year. so sad, must wait for the next one.
