the off pass

hello i am at home because i came out for the URA scholarship essay test.

anyway there were many ri boys at the URA building today. but i didn't see mrs ong. maybe it wasn't a geography school trip. clara and yihui were there too, and we took up the back row. haha it was like back to school again, doing geography essays in class. we went for lunch at maxwell food centre after that. then yihui bought that childhood biscuit that i haven't eaten in so long! it's the big round flat coloured wafers. and that shop sold many other biscuits we used to eat when we were young.

then it was back home, apron on, for baking! i'm right now waiting for my bisuit dough to rest up in the fridge. hopefully i can complete the biscuits and bring them back to camp!

oh yes i have asked the barmy baker, and she says she only has one oven. which means i either overbeat or underbeat the egg whites, causing the failure of the ladyfingers =( oh no it's so hard to get it right...

but anyway, just one last (nice) photo of the (nice) tiramisu.
