soy cream cheese: the healthier alternative

i am so beyond angry now. at first i was just disappointed with the way the london cheesecake looks like it's going to turn out.
firstly, i think the biscuit base is the only thing that would turn out nice, provided no water leaked into the springform pan.
choosing soy cream cheese may have been a terribly wrong idea. because it smelled weird when i opened it. and the cheesecake batter simply didn't smell appetising at all. so this is when i got disappointed.
i thought that i whisked the sour cream icing nicely, and that that might be the last effort to save this all-gone-awry cake. and yes it looked just nice at first.
and this is when i get so angry. this is the reason why i will never ever let mummy interfere in my baking anymore. check out what the top layer should really look like. the sour cream icing that was supposed to just be pale and creamy-looking ended up getting burnt because mummy insisted on turning up the temperature and cooking for a while more to ensure full doneness.

no. i am beyond upset now. it not only smells disgusting, but looks disgusting.
