CHAPTER 1: of the class
this was pretty much how the class first started. shocked by the female-male imbalance? there was a period when it began to equalize, but then people started changing subject combinations and it unbalanced itself again.
this is toffa behind the hand! and my old pencil box beside her. she says, '你的头发很美。' toffa always had the coolest spectacles! and she can do those pretty writings on pillows and t-shirts!
this is the zomg look by huixing and dawn. as you can see, weiyang is sleeping (not an uncommon phenomenon in class).
and we thought swapnil was from ACS. i think we would remember swapnil as the irritating poop who was too damn smart but prefers to slack and copy everyone else's work. but hey, he has a china love now.
this was the loser land yacht we made. i remember that it was james' group that won the whole level. i remember how his land yacht travelled for a long distance, stopped, and then continued moving, stopped again, and moved some more.
this is yihui, amanda and joohui. but joohui changed to a biology class after a while. i think physics really pissed everyone off at the beginning. i think it was kinematics. and the first lecture test.
ok, i found two consecutive shots of sijian in the same pose. i think, if we could turn back time, i would have chosen to get to know the three china scholars in my class better.
eew the seibu tries to touch amanda. this was taken on the last day of school, i think. it was the day i brought the mud cake sans alcohol, which turned out too hard because i didn't replace the alcohol with another liquid; and too bitter, at least to stephanie and beejuan.
this was the day we went to yihui's house, and saw her dogs pooping haha. this is at the park near sungei api api, where the class played touch rugby, i think. and look at clara's shirt. not uncommon for it to be untucked!
and the cow in the geography room. we have been lucky these two years. because we almost had mr kamal replacing mr lee to teach us in j2, but mr lee stayed and taught us both years. i still think that geography is a better subject to take than history and literature!

CHAPTER 2: of (some) teachers
this is siuchu before her name got changed to seibu. yes, snip off HER head. i believe that she is a common enemy to the class. french vocabulary exercises, oh puhleez! je ne suis pas bothered.
anyhow, we all smile in front of a camera. this was the day we took class photo officially. i think i attempted to mess up ms ooi's hair. but i think many other people tried to also.
our beloved ms law! whom mr lee says only knows about rocks. but i love physical geography so much more than human geography! and it's funny the way mr lee and ms law always talk about each other sarcastically! concentric city development or crater city?
mr lee! who sings jazz and dislikes lisa ono =( thanks to mr lee, we will remember baotou, eastern china, and zambia which is *somewhere* in sub-saharan africa. i think i will also remember the eight future forms of cities: counterurbanised enclaves, quartered structure, multiple nuclei, dense high-rise housing, CBD reimaging, heritage preservation, green city, cultural renaissance.
and the geography class. oh gosh i just remembered that there was a time i wanted to matchmake ms law and mr lee together, only to realise one day that mr lee was married and already had two children =( anyhow, ms law got married this year too! i caught a glimpse of the file 'things to do for wedding' on her desktop!

CHAPTER 3: of changing shape
(scientists have listed 'friends' as a cause of obesity; associating with fatter friends makes you fatter, while associating with slimmer friends makes u slimmer.)
this is the two-years-before shot. as you can see, weiyang weighs more than 60kg at this point in time.
and weiyang cried on his birthday, at the prospect of gaining a few more grams from the cake in front of him.
and the after-two-years shot. weiyang is now less than 60kg.
but guess who got fatter in his place. (clara: if you're reading this, look at this photo with us two years ago! when our jaw lines still looked so sharp. do you think we both got a bit rounder than we were? sobs, i think it's the fried chicken from stall 6.)

CHAPTER 5: of changing hair
ok this is the ugliest hair i've ever had. i much prefer long hair >.< on another note, sonya was mugging on the national day celebrations 2006, and weiyang was still fat.
and so i grew longer hair and i think it's so much nicer. i really like my hair in the last shot. we should aspire to have sonya hair, which is so irritatingly smooth that hairbands will slip off it.

CHAPTER 6: of couple
the beginnings of the couple in august 2006! i remember beejuan said she went to the heart of darkness, came back, and noticed weird relationships forming.
and finally officialised in 2007! see the heart between them, put up by weiyang. anyway, this picture was taken on the celebration for yihui's birthday. and i thought it'll be nice to end off the post with another complete class photo, with everyone in.
