milk tea ice cream

ice cream is becoming a permanent fixture in my freezer. this time it was milk tea ice cream.
this is an eggless ice cream, which is good, because i've started accumulating more and more egg whites again. i just steeped tea leaves in milk, thickened it with cornstarch, strained, chilled, and lightened it with cream. then churn it with the ice cream maker!
i particularly like this photo; it's so olden.
