muslang

before i begin the real post i need to bring to light the fact that in the last one week i ate fatty food at cedele, rich cheesecakes at big O, fatty chicken rice, the jaejoong korean chicken, and i ate five donuts within the last 24 hours. it is time to run again. AGR-style.

yesterday was the PSC psychological interview. more like psycho interview. omg la firstly the place was hard to find; secondly, it was three hours of non-stop talking; thirdly, the weather was shitty when i came out. ok fine at least the psychologists were very nice and friendly.

taxi fares are scary. even 35% surcharges are scary. just this month, i've already spent close to $100 on taxi fares =( took the train the moment my taxi reached a train station... oh and on the train i saw someone who looked like nicholas d'agosto! or maybe a jaejoong-look-alike. then dinner was at suntec's siam kitchen, which had nice prawn crackers, with the class. or most of the class. i tried the thai grill, which was quite nice, but i think thai express offers more value for money. also, i finally tried tom yum soup, and it's not that spicy after all.
after everyone left, it was back to jia en's house for sleepover. the last sleepover for the seibu. i was on a freezing bus because i went home first before going. and we didn't do much at the sleepover except sleep.

we lazed around a lot today morning too. and so we only managed to go mcdonald's for breakfast, walk around in this cool and chic shop called gastronomia, and buy hazelnuts (more on that later).

had fish & co at the airport for lunch. this time we were not rushing around like last time, although by murphy's law, everything else happens. today's departure was less teary than the last one, unlike bree watching aida. sometimes, i wonder if people dream of the clichéd thing where, in an airport, you just look around and suddenly your eyes lock with another person's and it's love at first sight.

anyway, i have the urge to bake now, and even though the weather is so good for making pie, the calling for a nutella cake is higher! so whisk away!
oh and surprise surprise! i got a conditional offer from imperial college london (like, ya, finally), which can be considered 75% fulfilled. now, this last photo is a reminder of how nice long hair is!
and don't keep telling me that i look better with short hair =(

a smile is the shortest distance between two people.
