wretched rains

so, this week is almost the last week in bmt. and it's been raining a lot, which means a lot of slack time in the bunk too, because there simply aren't many activities left for the bmt course.

the only major event this week was the 24km route march, in which i was the front scout! it's so cool, because i was the front scout for the entire school (save for the fact that sergeant sugy made a wrong turn and caused me to run for 100m carrying everything). and while sergeant sugy fell out at the 16km point to be replaced by sergeant shafiq (who has much more to talk about with), i remained the front scout for the whole 24km yay!

i also caught a glimpse of shanghui one day at the parade square, when his company marched past mine.

on other news, leopard has won the games day champion title for the 12th consecutive time! i was the leopard mascot, and i was made to wear a soft toy suit... everyone tried to pull the tail, which was already on its way to being detached from the suit. and, the suit is damn stinky, because it hadn't been washed in >3 years.
