strawberry shortcake: 2nd attempt

ok, dough felt the same as last time.

but i split it into two pans to try to get more crisp.

very uneven rising, which made me worried about the subsequent slicing.

cheap(er) strawberries from cold storage at taka.

this is before cutting.

and after cutting it looks like a bloody massacre.

tossed with sugar, looking more bloody again.

oh i took this very dark shot and i think it's super nice.

the two highly uneven shortcakes.

but the slicing was ok, and i did something special to the whipped cream this time! i added in bailey's to give it some kick! this is the first layer.

and then the second layer.

and the third layer, which is the last one, because i am limited by the height of the box.

yup, so that's my second attempt at strawberry shortcake, and i think it looks much better this time. the recipe should be finalised! hope it's better than aiya it's ok la.
