hesitate

i am very apprehensive about the chocolate cake i made today. however, i did a good vanilla butter cream, and some interesting tangy chocolate frosting, so i'm hoping they can mask the weirdness of the cake. not that it tastes bad, just that it has this odd smell. there's no word for it simply because i can't find a word for it. mummy says it's too much baking soda. and the irritating thing was, i sifted all the flour and stuff except the freaking baking soda, which caused small lumps in the cake, and they tasted whacky. had to remove the visible bits one by one.

oh well, see how tomorrow. my class will eat it =(

ok, today was chomp chomp for dinner with weiyang, seibu, beejuan, yiyan and jia en. i brought the strawberry shortcake i made yesterday! and then we went to buy the famous goreng pisang first - the one that amanda introduced me to! and, i saw shanghui! omg he just happened to run past when i looked up and i just exclaimed his name. i think that it was a very pleasant surprise. but we didn't talk much =( he just went back to his running.

we ate a lot! like satay, squid, stingray, carrot cake, and the strawberry shortcake. sigh, if only more people were there to share the shortcake; i think it was very much nicer than the first time. omg, of all people, shanghui should have tried it! he was the poop who said the first one was 'aiya it's ok la.'

oh yes we made a surprise visit to sonya's house! but then no one was at home. see, this is a common occurrence for seibu and friends. so dumb. then i worked my powers and her car appeared at the driveway! haha we stayed at the house for so long, talking about so many things, but mainly trying to get a plan for tomorrow's class outing.

by the way, i'm 18 tomorrow! and i wish that you would remember my birthday.
