urge to splurge

the storm last night was so kickass that it woke me up. i vaguely remember flashes of lightning followed immediately by roaring thunder. and the thunder was scary. it was a cool and damp morning. my violin case has a nice smell!

at the aljunied bus stop i saw two cats in a bush. they were gazing into each other's eyes. then suddenly they were fighting, and one was chasing the other down the gutter.

turns out, my violin teacher wasn't at home =( the only time i didn't confirm with him a lesson and he really didn't schedule my lesson. went to raffles city instead for some shopping.

the donut queue seemed to be much shorter! and it was before 12:30pm but they were already open! and i think the queue moves faster now, because i recognised a familiar face at the end of the queue, and one hour later that person was already at the shop. hope they didn't further limit the order quota.

got some cookie mixes from the marketplace, and i noticed that ben and jerry's dublin mudslide is now out in pints! met yihui at raffles city, but i went home first to dump everything down before coming out again for mr lee's performance.

bought an irish cream ice blended so that we could claim seats in the cafe. and omg mr lee's performance was so nice. and his children are so bouncy! stupid seibu got a chance to pick a song because mr lee thought she bought two drinks. it was actually clara, yihui and i who bought the drinks >.<

i think it's so nice to have such a perfect life.

dinner was at kenny rogers roasters. and i didn't feel guilty at all for eating all that high-fat, high-carbs meal now that my napfa is over.
