woke up near twelve again! i was trying to find articles about the typhoon that blew over singapore in 2001, but i kept searching 'equatorial cyclone' on google. forgot that it should have been termed 'typhoon'. but now i've found it. typhoon vamei!

i was trying to do the chemistry tutorial on solubility equilibria, and i got stuck again and again. =( must use the lecture notes to do. then i also did the maths revision worksheet on functions.

the sky's very dark now because the environmental lapse rate was very steep. parcels of air were rising rapidly to condensation levels to form cumulus clouds. i suppose wind speed hasn't reached 61km/h, and so this is just a tropical depression!
