white cards

i just had my first fire alarm experience in the cinema. but it was a false alarm. i noticed just how long i haven't done anything in the kitchen since chinese new year.
these are the nigella sourdough rolls and loaf that i made on the second day of chinese new year. something wasn't right, and the crumb was rock hard. nevertheless, i stashed the bread in the fridge, and it ahs been there until now.

i took out some to make french toast. even with at least thirty minutes to soak up the egg, there was still some left unabsorbed. and when the french toasts were bitten into, you can tell that the egg couldn't get absorbed into the centres.
today i made a wish upon a heart and kept it in a bear.
