ma maison

the lovely, but overly dark ma maison restaurant. the table cloth does look like one of beejuan's dresses... the furniture, cutlery, table accessories etc. all seem to be a mish-mash from different sources. maybe they got each worker to contribute their own?
this is the absolutely black squid ink spaghetti. it was served on a black plate, because i think it would stain a plate of any other colour beyond recognition. but it was tasty. just don't talk or smile after eating it.
this is the pretty but - if you think about it - disgusting brown sauce hearts that beejuan made with her leftover sauce while waiting for jia en to finish eating.
i think i've found a cream cheese frosting that jia en can take!
