ok i finally have time to post. because the computer made me so angry - it refused to switch on for 23 times until i kicked the CPU. then i've been busy clearing folders and freeing up space, and backing up files.
anyway, it's raining outside. it's been raining since morning.
i think prom was an overrated thing. the food wasn't very fantastic, and the whole place was so noisy like a fish market. but there were nice clothes walking around. i thought stephanie had a very simple and nice dress, and gabrielle solis hair! yihui had a very nicely coordinated dress and eyeshadow. and kira had glitter in his hair, while jia en had destroyed nails. so there wasn't much to remember about the dinner, maybe except that i managed to take many photos with many people, unlike at the ri prom.
after the dinner (past midnight, so it was today morning), went walking with yihui, clara, toffa, aminah, yishi, beejuan, yiyan and jia en. we were walking from the hotel to clarke quay, and by then i had lost my voice. toffa was singing many old songs that i don't know at all, but everyone else knew. i think i studied very hard in primary school. there was no night life at clarke quay, but a wailing girl along the river.
we sat along the river and reminisced about the past two years (though we kept digressing). we also looked at orion's belt; there were many stars this night. i also bumped into tiapyang and yingtse.
on the way back to the hotel, there was a cockroach chasing me. then, there was a big rat in front of us. at first it just looked like this furry box with a tail sticking out. then when i asked if it was a rat, it started moving. anyway, we ran past it.
back at the hotel, we played daidi and asshole daidi. i am proud to say that i stayed in the royal faimly throughout! then while they went to play mahjong i watched psycho on the television with aminah. after don't-know-how-long, i think everyone was finally sleeping. woke up at 11am, and it was raining.
went for lunch at thai express. i must say their soft-shell crabs are much bigger than the ones at tiong bahru plaza's thai express. finally went home after staying out for more than 24 hours. and slept much much.
